Lemon Crepe & Coffee Co

Lemon Crepe & Cafe Co

We were in town early one Saturday morning and, with half an hour to kill, we decided to pop into this establishment for a quick coffee. Himself was tempted by the sweet crepes and I gallantly I resisted.  After all, it was only a couple of hours since we’d eaten breakfast. Following a short period of deliberation he ordered a cinnamon and apple crepe and we both requested americanoes. We placed our order at the counter before sitting down but afterwards I noticed that there is actually a system here where ‘sitting down’ customers get table service and ‘take-away’ ones order at the counter.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our americanoes arrived in huge cups, steaming hot and with plenty of ‘crema’. The crepe arrived shortly afterwards and it was absolutely enormous. Luckily, for me, and extra set of cutlery was brought to the table. I’m not sure that this was so lucky for Mr W. Anyway the crepe was very tasty and I really enjoyed my share of it.

There is also a  range of savoury pancakes on offer at Lemon. A group of four at a table nearby were discussing the menu. One of the four was a regular customer and was describing, rapturously, each of the savoury pancakes. They all sounded absolutely mouthwateringly tasty and I am definitely planning to return.
